Melbourne Campus Sports Hall of Fame

Step into the main athletic building on the Melbourne Campus, and you’ll find yourself in a shrine of local legends. The Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame hangs its trophies and photo‑ops proudly along the main hallway, right beside the gym and the bulging offices of the athletic department.

How Do They Pick the Hall of Famers?

  • Professional sports: Those who’ve made it big on the world stage.
  • College sports: Star athletes who rocked campus hoops, slots, or any other varsity arena.
  • High school sports: Rising stars of the road‑side tracks and local arenas.
  • Amateur sports: Community champions who’ve honed their skills outside the professional spotlight.

Special Honors

Besides the four main categories, the Hall of Fame also hands out honorary plaques to anyone—individuals or groups—who’ve poured heart, sweat, and a dash of genius into sports across the Space Coast. Whether they’re coaches, volunteers, or sports-tech innovators, they’re all celebrated for their dedication and passion.
