It all began as a mystery.
Far away in the icy Himalayan peaks, there were reports among locals of a dark, sticky resin that oozed from cracks in the rocks when summer arrived and the sun became warm. They called it the “destroyer of weakness,” a blessing from the mountains.
For ages, travellers, monks, and herbalists went after it. They thought it sharpened the mind, made the body stronger, and kept the spirit energised even in rough conditions. Today, we know it by a simpler name: Himalayan Shilajit.
