Gray led the Titans to a 23-7 record overall

Eastern Florida State College Titans’ Head Coach Takes a Break
What Happened
Gerald “Gray” Thomas, the 12th men’s basketball boss in Titans history, has decided it’s time to hang up his whistle—at least for now.
Short, Sweet, and Successful
In his single season at the helm, the Titans turned the scoreboard into a 23-7 masterpiece. In conference play, they were a solid 12-4.
- Home Glory: 12-1 at the home court—no one could beat them in their own shoes.
- National Ratings: The squad made the NJCAA Division I National poll for a whopping 13 weeks.
- Championship Run: Earned a spot in the FCSAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in Niceville, only to bow out in the quarterfinals against Pensacola State College.
Why the Move?
Gray chose to get back home to BREVARD COUNTY to spend more time with family. “It’s all about the people who matter most,” he told reporters.
Next Steps for the Titans
EFSC is already busy scouting new talent for the head coaching position and plans to reveal the next fit in the upcoming month.
