Titans defeated Calhoun Community College 8-0, had eight different players score
The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team opened the regular season with a win in a battle of top 20 teams. The No. 14-ranked Titans defeated Calhoun Community College 8-0 Sunday afternoon at Motlow State College in Tennessee.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team posted its second straight shutout to begin the season.

Eastern Florida State College had eight different players score in the win and is now 2-0 on the season.
Freshman Aofie Farral opened the scoring with her first goal with the Titans 12 minutes into the contest on a pass from Avery Bracher. About eight minutes later, it was 2-0 as Brienna McCain scored her first goal on a pass from Bracher.
Akelia Johnson made it 3-0, and then Bracher scored her second goal of the season to make it 4-0.
Shi-Lynn Yon and Savannah O’Grady also scored in the first half as the Titans went into halftime with a 6-0 lead.
Kanon Tai would make it 7-0, scoring on a penalty kick, and Addie Kolachik rounded out the scoring for the Titans.
Bracher and O’Grady each finished with a goal and two assists, while Tai had a goal and an assist. Bri Yocum and Phoebe Wilson also had assists in the win.
Eastern Florida State College will host Florida Tech in a scrimmage on Wednesday at Orlando Health Stadium before the home opener on Sept. 1.
Eastern Florida State College will host No. 11 Butler Community College at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1 at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus. Admission is free, and fans can watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.

The 14th-ranked Titans picked up a 1-0 victory against No. 17 Motlow State College on Friday afternoon in Tennessee.
Freshman Avery Bracher scored her first goal as a Titan in the first half, and the Titans’ defense shut out a Motlow State offense that returned one of the top scorers in the country last season.
Maja Lundin was credited with the assist on the goal.
Eastern Florida State College won the season opener for the fourth straight season and the second straight time they have opened with a win against Motlow State.
The Titans had Saturday off before facing Calhoun Community College on Sunday afternoon in Tennessee.
