Gwen Stefani formed the band No Doubt all the way back in 1986 — yes, really! — but in 1995, the rockers broke out with their hit song “Don’t Speak.” Since then, Gwen’s career (and love life!) have really taken off.
Ultimately, the band took a hiatus, and Gwen started working on her own solo albums with massive hits like “Hollaback Girl” and “The Sweet Escape,” but she’s added so much more to her resume!
The blonde bombshell launched her clothing label, L.A.M.B in 2004, adding a perfume called L to the line in 2007. In 2016, she started making eyeglasses as part of her collection after she began having to wear them herself.

Gwen also became a notable face in the makeup world thanks to her signature red lip and perfect porcelain skin. In 2011, she became a spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris and collaborated with Urban Decay a few years later to create her own collection in 2016. She also kicked off a very successful Vegas residency in 2018.
Of course, her most notable gig besides music has to be her role as a coach on The Voice. She first appeared on season 7 in 2014, replacing Christina Aguilera.
Quickly becoming a fan favorite, Gwen went on to act as a coach for seasons 9, 12, 17 and 19, and an advisor on seasons 8 and 10.

And thanks to meeting a special someone on set, The Voice became much more to her than just an opportunity to help other performers on the rise.
After the singer got divorced in 2015 from Gavin Rossdale — with whom she shares sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo — she moved on with fellow TV judge Blake Shelton. After five years of dating, the country crooner finally popped the question in 2020.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020 … And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!” he wrote beside an Instagram photo of Gwen flaunting her new ring on October 27.
“The engagement happened at the chapel Blake built for Gwen on the grounds of their Oklahoma home,” an insider exclusively told In Touch about the proposal, adding, “Blake got down on one knee.” Gwen is “over the moon” to spend the rest of her life with her beau.
Since that romantic engagement, Blake and Gwen’s dream wedding “came together without a hitch,” a source told In Touch, and the happy pair were married on July 3, 2021, in an intimate ceremony on Blake’s Oklahoma ranch.
Gwen shared some pictures of the nuptials on Instagram with the caption, “Dreams do come true!”

No Doubt released “It’s My Life” — a cover of Talk Talk’s song — in 2003, and it blew up on the radio. That same year, Gwen released her L.A.M.B. collection. “I didn’t want people to think that I was doing it to take advantage of No Doubt’s success,” she recalled to the Hollywood Reporter about her 15 years as a fashion designer. “But my whole life, I’ve always made clothes. And you’ve got to curse and be tough.’ And I was never like that,” she told Vogue in 2004. “I grew up, like, a Catholic good girl. Total Brady Bunch family. That always kind of scared me, the pressure of having to be so cool or like, f–k you to the world. But I kind of got over that and realized that, yes, I love to dress up, and I love to wear makeup and be myself. I like being a girl. I like having a door opened for me. I like all that traditional stuff, and I won’t deny it.”

Family First
In 2008, Gwen had her second child, Zuma. “I wasn’t even married. Now I’m a wife and a mother of two,” she told Elle magazine at the time. “It’s a really different role. I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage, because that’s what it’s like to be together for so long and go through what we’ve been through. I can’t really have that relationship with them anymore.”

Maternal Instinct
“It’s one thing when you have an infant, but when you have this two-or three-year-old going, ‘Mommy, what’s the deal?’ It’s harder,” she explained about motherhood. “Kingston’s whole thing is, ‘I need, I need.’ He is insane right now. We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see.”

All Dolled Up
“I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up,” Gwen told Harper’s BAZAAR in 2012 about her regimen. “I already put my makeup on twice today. I put it on to take my kid to school, and then, I went home, washed my face and put it on again.”

They’re Back!
In 2012, No Doubt returned with their album called Push and Shove. “It just feels so much more natural being back in this mode. The solo records allowed me to indulge my girly side, but it was never meant to be taken seriously,” she told The Guardian at the time about reuniting with the band. “It was just like an art project that kept going longer than I expected. The group never ended — we always knew we’d come back to make this album.”

On Point
Gwen had her third child, Apollo, in February 2014. However, Gwen’s outfits were always on point, despite being a mama to three boys. “I would see all these girls who had cool style and were just different, and I knew I wanted to be like that,” she told Teen Vogue about who influences her. “I’d see something I liked and then sort of make it my own — you keep doing that, and it becomes a sort of evolution of your style.”

Classy Gal
“Even being close to L.A., I was always inspired by old movies and Marilyn Monroe, and the glamour of Hollywood,” she said. “I even remember the day I discovered James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. I don’t know why it affected me so strongly, but I walked down to the corner store and bought every poster of them, and I did my whole room up. Overnight.”

So Similar
Two months later, Gwen revealed that she was dating Blake Shelton after the two met on The Voice. The country singer was also going through a divorce from Miranda Lambert at the time as well, so they were able to bond over their mutual heartbreak. “[They] are in a great place and act like loved-up teenagers, it’s so cute! Their nights out together really help keep the relationship alive,” a source exclusively gushed to Life & Style about their connection.

So Happy Together
Since then, the “Cool” crooner and the country star are happier than ever. “He is a good dad,” Gwen said on the Today show about her man. “He’s been helping me out a lot. I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You’ve got to get home. Come help!’ It’s hard. I have three boys.”
