Jennifer Lopez‘s sister, Lynda Lopez, proved how close she still is with Ben Affleck‘s daughter Violet, visiting the college freshman at Yale University amid her dad’s divorce from the Atlas actress.
Lynda, 53, shared a series of Instagram photos on Sunday, November 3, taken during the trip to New Haven, Connecticut, where the Ivy League school is located. “New Haven with my favorite Yalie!” she wrote in the caption.

The first snapshot was a selfie taken by Violet, 18, who was smiling while wearing a warm white jacket while Lynda stood behind her with her hands on the coed’s shoulders.
The former TV news reporter shared additional photos of their stroll through campus, showing classic buildings, statues and autumn colors with leaves glowing on the ground during the sunny fall day.

The Maid in Manhattan star shared a clip to her Instagram Stories on July 13, smiling while driving with the wind flowing through her hair as Violet and her pal, Cassidey Fralin, sat in the back seat. Jennifer set the video to the Kid Laroi song “Girls.”
The following month, Violet proved she still had access to J. Lo’s enviable closet. She stepped out in Brentwood, California, wearing Jennifer’s pink and white Dolce & Gabbana dress that the Hustlers star previously wore on a 2023 Valentine’s Day date night with Ben.
Violet ditched the logo belt on the chiffon frock and paired it with ankle socks and sneakers for a Gen-Z look on August 9.
J. Lo filed for divorce from Ben on August 20, with the Los Angeles Superior Court. The superstar filed pro per, meaning without an attorney.

It came after the former power couple spent the summer apart, with Jen staying in the Hamptons while Ben remained in Los Angeles.
In Touch was first to exclusively break the news on May 15 that the pair was heading for a split.
“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider dished. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!”
By then, the Argo star had already moved out of the duo’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion and into a $100,000 a month rental home in Brentwood, closer to where Garner and their three children live.
“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” the source added.
