Mission to the Big Apple

The Upperclassmen Varsity Cheerleaders from Astronaut High School are gearing up to shine on New York City’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28th.

Why the Big Bucks Matter

  • Team Size: 14 spirited gymnasts + 2 dedicated coaches
  • Goal: Raise $42,000 in total to cover:
    • Flights and baggage fees
    • Hotel rooms and meals
    • Rehearsal venues and set‑up costs
    • Fade‑in‑and‑out costuming

Inside the Cheer Boosters

  • Since 1953, the show has been televised nationally on NBC — a broadcast that reaches millions of hearts and feet across the country.
