  • The single-minded proposition for your media persona isn’t as single minded as you think

The single-minded proposition for your media persona isn’t as single minded as you think

The one-line single minded proposition is your ticket to drive on the media motorway.

Get it right and you get green lights all the way, and infact you can confidently accelerate, almost like you’re in a jet stream. Get it wrong and you can be stopped by every single red traffic light, traffic jammed for miles crawling along at a snail’s pace or remaining totally stationary altogether.
If the single-minded proposition is your tree anchored by the roots of your back story, all your content in the form of subsequent stories are the branches that stem from it.
It’s what William Chase, the founder of Tyrrells Crisps and Chase Vodka calls ‘The Magic’.
Literally, it’s like Ali-Baba And The Flying Magic Carpet. Get on and you effortlessly take off, seemingly without a care in the world, riding high across the Arabian night sky.
I first worked with William Chase ‘making the magic’ around the exit stage of Tyrrells crisps in 2008 which he sold for £40 million. This sale overlapped the early growth phase of Chase Vodka, which sold for an estimated £80 million to Diageo in 2021.
I came up with and deployed the narratives about Chase ‘selling vodka to the Russians’ around the time of the Football World Cup after Chase won the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for ‘world’s best vodka’ knocking P Diddy endorsed Ciroc rock off its perch.
Chase is now fully focused on his ‘third coming’, Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar, getting people hooked on a daily dose of Willy’s to keep the doctor away and boost immunity. In this ‘virus world’, that’s certainly ‘of its time’.
He’s pondering how to best position and reignite his back story so it breathes life into Willy’s Apple Cider vinegar.
Chase’s personal story as a farming entrepreneur has always cross-fertilised first his potato crisps business followed by the potato vodka business – selling the provenance and craftsmanship of the brands.
William Chase positioned himself as an Everyman anti-hero. A fighter. An overcomer of obstacles.
But that’s only part of the single-minded positioning.
The other part, which creates ‘The Magic’, is the strap-on, change-out component, the ‘campaign’ that adjusts the single-minded proposition to the media market – the mood and temperature of the time, but more importantly, allows you to fill a position not already owned by someone else.
Get it right, and it means you can personify and fill a market gap and get lift off because there’s space for you to occupy.
So the single-minded proposition isn’t so single-minded after all – but instead a single-minded proposition, adjusted to the market at any given time through a ‘subplot’ or ‘campaign’.
Diet Coke is a brand with grounded, solidified somewhat static brand values. So the ‘Kate Moss for Diet Coke’ is the sub-plot or campaign which has a short life span and is changed out.
If your personal brand is Harrods, then the subplot or ‘campaigns’ are the ever-rotating dazzling window displays that create interest and maintain freshness.
So the two, the X and Y chromosome are one. The X is the anchor. The Y is the market adjustment and filler of a gap.
It can become a bit like a chess game played with a suck it and see attitude.
Market testing can take a while before something finally gels. The agar growing on the jelly.
William Chase found the gap in terms of his single minded-proposition but adjusted to the market mood, as the antithesis of the BBC Dragons’ Den multimillionaires all showing off about their wealth in documentaries with them jumping out of helicopters in Monte Carlo and magazine interviews showing off their car collections back in 2006 and 2007.
Chase was raw and real and quite literally ‘down to earth’ and ‘down on the farm’.
He cut to the chase, revealing how he had filed for bankruptcy at the age of 32 when he had problems harvesting the potato crops. He was happy to be this real and honest and gritty to anyone that would listen.
Rather than keeping his bankruptcy a guilty, hidden secret, Chase zeroed in on it as his subplot or ‘campaign’ and created a positioning – sharply in contrast with the multi-millionaire Dragons.
He wasn’t a ‘me too’ entrepreneur like the Channel 4 Secret Millionaires chasing the coat tails of the Dragons but positioned as the antidote to the gratuitous, showy-offy displays of personal wealth. Yes, James Caan had not one but two Rolls Royce Phantoms in his garage! Will Chase was happy on his tractor.
    It worked.
His story truly took off and subsequently the food and drink sections of all the national newspapers followed suit by filling their pages with product PR for Chase Distillery and the features sections with personal profiles on William Chase, the hardworking Hereford farmer.
When you get it right, rather than simply putting out, you get a lot of requests back the other way from journalists trying to keep up. It all starts to build like stoking a roaring fire in winter.
In the same way The Rolling Stones were the antidote to the clean-cut Beatles, Chase was the antidote to the multimillionaire BBC Dragons.
Hertz got famous with the slogan. ‘We’re only Number 2, but we try harder’. They fully accepted that Avis were number 1, admitted it, and then found the gap with their ‘service with a smile’, showing they try harder. That penetrated the media curtain. That positioned them for take-off.
The famous 2011 book of inspiration by M&C Saatchi is called ‘The Brutal Simplicity of Truth: How It Changed The World’.
One particular story in there sums up the importance of positioning in terms of making things fly for either products or people.
    It says:
‘Every day, a blind man sat on the pavement in Central Park. He had his hat in front of him, begging for money. The sign read:
    I am blind
    Passers-by ignored him.
One day, an advertising man saw his plight. He altered the wording on his sign and the cash started pouring into the hat. What had he done?
He had changed the sign to read:
‘It is Spring and I am blind’.
Your personal brand is much the same. Just being blind is only one aspect.
The missing component is market adjustment and qualifier. In this case ‘it being Spring’ was the vital component for the blind man to get traction with his audience.
Each subplot, campaign or ‘cartridge’ has a lifespan and then needs to be swapped out at some point once it’s run its course.
Chase can’t create ‘The Magic’ for Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar by telling the bankruptcy story all over again. It’s been done to death. That subplot in terms of his positioning is over.
Meghan Markle is currently struggling for relevance in the USA as she tries to recycle her victim status at the hands of the ‘nasty racist royals’.
People aren’t wearing it. Not because she’s not presenting it in a believable, emotion-fuelled way, but because she’s exhausted the positioning of being a victim at the hands of the Royal family. It’s run its course and she’s done it to death. She needs something new like the US Presidency to set her sights on.
The change-out subplots can be rapid-burn or slow-burn depending on market forces.
For Las Vegas based Entrepreneur Krista Waddell I had a truly golden period when she brought to Britain Ounces2Pounds at the onset of the financial crash of 2007-2008. Reverse tupperware-style parties were ‘of their time’. They had started in Canada and the USA. Krista was the first to bring them to Britain. I had Krista interviewed on BBC business shows as an innovator. Loads of Me too copycats launched and started getting press traction eventually – generally as spin-offs from various pawn brokers. But Ounces2Pounds were in first, and maxed out the press. I had them on BBC Breakfast, CNN, The Sun, The Telegraph you name it. Krista eventully melted down £2 million worth of junk jewellery made up of single cufflinks and single gold earrings in Birmingham before leaving the country again. The financial crash was her ‘campaign’ which, bolted on, created her positioning.
You’ll know when its time to develop and deploy something new as your bounce seems to be becoming a little flat.
Madonna has had more media lives than I’ve had hot dinners because she has expertly repositioned her personal brand time and time again with ‘Great resets’ while never removing or eroding the essence of what makes her tick.
The two-pronged ‘single-minded proposition is the key to unlocking the door of media coverage gold. Once you get this right you can proliferate your content and start to push it out into the media marketplace.

  • Trump's Fed Pick Stephen Miran Commits To Central Bank Independence

Trump's Fed Pick Stephen Miran Commits To Central Bank Independence

Authored by Andrew Moran via The Epoch Times,

Stephen Miran, President Donald Trump’s nominee to temporarily serve on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, committed to preserving the central bank’s independence in testy exchanges with senators.

Trump announced his nomination of Miran, the current head of the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers, early last month to temporarily fill the seat vacated by Adriana Kugler.

Appearing before the Senate Banking Committee for his confirmation hearing, Miran expressed the necessity for monetary policy independence as lawmakers centered their questions on the Federal Reserve’s autonomy.

“In my view, the most important job of the central bank is to prevent depressions and hyperinflations. Independence of monetary policy is a critical element for its success,” he said in his opening remarks on Sept. 4.

“I will act independently as the Federal Reserve always does,” Miran told senators, adding that he welcomes listening to a diverse array of opinions “to challenge my own views and interrogate them.”

Democratic senators, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), were unconvinced, stating that Miran would serve as a proxy for the president and erode Fed independence.

Accentuating her point, Warren asked Miran whether he thought Trump had lost the 2020 presidential election and if he believed the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ July jobs numbers had been manipulated.

Miran replied that President Joe Biden “was certified by Congress” and that the federal agency has struggled with deteriorating data quality.

“Dr. Miran, you have made clear that you will do or say whatever Donald Trump wants you to do or say,” Warren, the top Democrat on the committee, said.

“That may work in a political position, but it takes an axe to Fed independence, and will make life far more expensive for Americans.”

Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.J.) questioned whether administration officials, “formally or informally,” had asked Miran to vote to lower interest rates.

    “No,” Miran answered.

Miran is likely to be confirmed as Republicans control the Senate Banking Committee and hold 53 seats in the upper chamber. All Senate GOP lawmakers voted to confirm Miran, who served in the president’s first term, to chair the president’s key economic advisory group.

Still, many of them encouraged Miran to stay committed to doing what he thinks is right rather than following the wishes of politicians.

“There’s nothing wrong with politicians in Washington offering their opinions. You can’t stop them,“ Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) told Miran.

”But we need a monetary plan that was put together by something other than vodka and darts, and that’s what we have the Federal Reserve for.”

His ascent to the Fed Board could happen before the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meets on Sept. 16 and 17. Investors overwhelmingly anticipate that monetary policymakers will vote to lower interest rates by a quarter point for the first time since December. The institution has been on hold this year to determine the potential effects of Trump’s sweeping global tariff plans.

If confirmed, Miran would serve on the Fed Board only until Jan. 31, 2026. Trump could then renominate Miran to complete a full 14-year term or select another individual for the position.

Miran revealed that he would only be taking an unpaid leave of absence from the White House because his term would only last four months. He noted that he would resign if nominated for a longer term.

This sparked further scrutiny from Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.), who called it “ridiculous.”

“You are going to be technically an employee of the president of the United States, but an independent member of the board of the Federal Reserve,” Reed said.

  • Are Cavities Still Possible After Getting Porcelain Veneers?

Are Cavities Still Possible After Getting Porcelain Veneers?

    Introduction:

In this blog, we learn that veneers are thin covers for teeth that can fill gaps, change tooth shape, hide stains, and fix chipped or broken teeth. While veneers make smiles look better, they don’t prevent cavities or strengthen teeth.

    (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({})

Cavities can still happen under veneers if oral hygiene isn’t maintained. Good oral care, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits, is crucial for both natural teeth and veneers to prevent decay. Following these tips can help maintain the appearance and health of veneers, ensuring a bright smile.

    (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({})

The porcelain used in your veneers won’t decay, but cavities can still form behind them. If this happens, the decay can harm your teeth and might make your veneers not last as long.

    (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({})

In this blog, we will discuss the following topics:

    (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({})

    What Are Veneers?

Veneers are thin shells made of tooth-colored materials, such as porcelain or composite resin, that are custom-made to cover the front surface of teeth. They are designed to improve the appearance of teeth by changing their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers are commonly used to address various cosmetic dental issues, including:

    1. Discoloration: Veneers can effectively cover teeth that are stained or discolored and resistant to whitening treatments.
    2. Chips or Cracks: Veneers can conceal small chips, cracks, or fractures in teeth, restoring a more uniform appearance.
    3. Gaps or Spaces: Veneers can close gaps or spaces between teeth, creating a more even and symmetrical smile.
    4. Misalignment: Veneers can give the appearance of straighter teeth without the need for orthodontic treatment in cases of minor misalignment or irregularly shaped teeth.

The process of getting veneers typically involves several steps, including consultation, tooth preparation, impression-taking, fabrication of custom veneers, and bonding the veneers to the teeth using dental cement. Veneers are a popular cosmetic dental treatment due to their ability to produce dramatic results with minimal alteration to the natural teeth.

    (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({})

Can You Still Get Cavities With Porcelain Veneers?

Yes, you can still get cavities with porcelain veneers. While porcelain veneers themselves are resistant to decay and staining, the natural tooth structure underneath the veneers is still susceptible to cavities. It’s essential to maintain good oral hygiene habits, such as brushing and flossing regularly, to prevent decay from developing around the margins of the veneers where they meet the natural tooth.

Additionally, regular dental check-ups and cleanings are crucial for monitoring the health of both the veneers and the underlying teeth. Your dentist can detect any signs of decay early on and provide appropriate treatment to prevent further damage to your teeth and veneers.

Even though porcelain veneers can enhance the appearance of your smile, it’s important to continue practicing proper dental care to ensure the longevity and health of your teeth and veneers alike.

    Why do cavities happen?

Your mouth has lots of bacteria, but brushing and flossing usually keep them in check. When bacteria mix with sugars in your food, they make acid that can harm your tooth’s outer layer (enamel). Saliva and fluoride in toothpaste can help repair this damage.

If the decay goes deeper to the next layer (dentin), it creates a deep cavity that hurts and makes your tooth sensitive. The fix for a cavity is a filling. Many people have had cavities—about 90% of adults aged 20 to 64, according to research.

Can veneers prevent cavities? Not exactly. Veneers are thin covers for the teeth’s front part. To put them on, some enamel is removed. While veneers can’t get cavities, the tooth under them can because some natural enamel is gone. Decay-causing bacteria and acids can get under the veneer, causing cavities if you don’t take care of your teeth well. That’s why if you have bad tooth decay or gum disease, veneers might not be a good idea.

How to care for your veneers—and teeth

    • Brush and floss daily with fluoride toothpaste and a soft brush.
    • Drink tap water with fluoride, not just bottled water.
    • Limit sugary and starchy foods and drinks like sodas, cookies, and chips.
    • Visit your dentist twice a year for cleaning and check-ups.

Veneers are mostly for looks and won’t shield you from cavities. You still need to care for your teeth to prevent decay.

5 Tips For Maintaining Your Veneers

Taking care of your veneers is like caring for your natural teeth. Here are seven easy tips:

    • Practice Good Oral Hygiene: Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Floss daily to remove plaque and debris from between your teeth and around the veneers. Maintaining good oral hygiene helps prevent decay and gum disease, which can affect the longevity of your veneers.
    • Avoid Staining Foods and Beverages: Certain foods and drinks, such as coffee, tea, red wine, and dark-colored sauces, can stain your veneers over time. Limit your consumption of these staining substances or rinse your mouth with water after consuming them to help minimize staining. Additionally, consider using a straw when drinking beverages that may stain.
    • Be Mindful of Habits: Avoid habits that can damage your veneers, such as biting your nails, chewing on hard objects like ice or pencils, or using your teeth to open packaging. These habits can chip, crack, or loosen your veneers, requiring repairs or replacements.
    • Protect Your Teeth During Sports: If you participate in sports or activities where there’s a risk of dental injury, wear a mouthguard to protect your veneers and natural teeth from trauma. A custom-fitted mouthguard, provided by your dentist, offers the best protection against impact.
    • Attend Regular Dental Check-ups: Visit your dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings to monitor the condition of your veneers and overall oral health. Your dentist can identify any issues with your veneers early on and provide appropriate treatment to maintain their appearance and function.

By following these tips and practicing proper dental care, you can help ensure the longevity and durability of your veneers for years to come.

    Conclusion

In conclusion, while porcelain veneers themselves are resistant to decay, cavities can still develop on the natural tooth structure beneath them. Maintaining good oral hygiene practices, attending regular dental check-ups, and addressing any signs of decay promptly are essential for preserving the health and longevity of both the veneers and the underlying teeth. By following these guidelines, individuals can enjoy the aesthetic benefits of veneers while minimizing the risk of dental issues such as cavities.

    Faq’s

    Q1. Can veneers cause cavities?

A1. Veneers themselves can’t get cavities. But the teeth under them can still decay. That’s why it’s really important to take good care of your teeth after getting veneers.

Q2. How do you know if teeth under veneers are decaying?

A2. If your tooth feels loose, the veneer is loose, or your tooth hurts when you eat or drink hot or cold things, it might mean the tooth under your veneer is decaying.

Q3. Can plaque build-up under veneers?

A3. Even though the front of your tooth is covered by a veneer, the rest of the tooth can still get plaque. So, you need to keep your gums and the area around the veneer clean.

Understanding the Benefits of Autoflower Cannabis Seeds for BC Growers

  • Why Auto‑Flowering Plants Are a Game‑Changer for BC Growers

    *

  • Imagine growing weed that’s practically the plant equivalent of an espresso shot – short, sweet, and ready to deliver a bang of potency in a flash. That’s the spirit of auto‑flowering strains that are shaking up the BC cultivation scene.

    • Speed is the name of the game – these plants can finish their life cycle in as little as 8–10 weeks, packing in multiple harvests during one season.
    • No need to juggle light schedules; they automatically switch from veg to bloom as soon as they’re ready.
    • They’re the friendly giants in regions with fickle daylight, adapting smoothly whether the sun is a diva or a shy star.

    Less Hassle, More Harvest

For growers overwhelmed by the day‑and‑night dance of traditional strains, auto‑flowering plants open a door to simpler, more predictable cultivation. With fewer variables to manage, you can spend less time fiddling and more time enjoying the fruits (and buds) of your labor.

What Doesn’t Work? Plain Vanilla Light Cycles

Traditional strains rely heavily on controlled lighting – 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark to trigger flowering. If you’re swimming in a market where daylight hours do a relay race, somewhere between plan, tend, and harvest, you’ll find a few tricky spots.

    Myth‑Busting

There’s a common misconception that auto‑flowers are just for “quick‑hits.” The truth is: they’re robust crops that stand up to a variety of climatic challenges. Whether your plants are sweating in a sunny gro vacuum or shivering in chilly corners, they grow and thrive.

In short, if you’re looking to streamline your growing process and squeeze more out of your season, it’s worth adding these speedy, adaptable plants to your lineup. Happy planting!

Image2Moreover, the resilience of these plants against pests and diseases enhances the likelihood of a successful yield. Their robust genetic makeup allows them to thrive in outdoor settings, making them ideal for the diverse microclimates in British Columbia. Growers can expect easier maintenance and potentially higher harvest quality due to the uniformity in growth patterns.
Another key advantage is the reduced space requirement. These varieties tend to be smaller, allowing cultivators to maximize limited areas, whether in an indoor setup or small outdoor gardens. This compact nature also makes them suitable for discreet cultivation, catering to those who prioritize privacy.
Additionally, a wide variety of flavors and effects is available, catering to different preferences. This diversity allows growers to experiment and find the ideal strains that will meet both personal and market demand. It’s advisable to research and select strains that are good suited for the local environment, ensuring optimal results.
Finally, the quicker turnaround means that growers can respond dynamically to market trends, capitalizing on demand more swiftly than those reliant on longer flowering varieties. This agility can lead to increased profitability and sustainability within the cultivation process in BC.

Give Your Plants a Luxury Getaway: The Ultimate Care Guide

    1. Keep the Climate Just Right

    • Daytime temps should hover between 20°C and 26°C – that’s sun‑kissed bliss.
    • Let the night chill a bit to around 18°C – like a gentle, overnight hug.
    • Consistency keeps the little green folks happy and free from stress.

    2. Soil That’s a Green Thumb’s Dream

    • Pick well‑draining soil enriched with organic loot – think compost, kitchen scraps, or leaf mold.
    • Target a pH of 6.0 to 6.8. That sweet spot lets plants gobble up nutrients like a hungry snack.

    3. Light Up Their Lives

    • Deliver 18 to 24 hours of light daily. Plants aren’t sleep‑deprived, but they adore a steady glow.
    • Use full‑spectrum LED lights or HID lamps to mimic the sun’s golden touch.
    • Strong light = strong growth, so no shade vibes.

    4. Humidity: The Fine Balance

    • In the seedling phase, aim for 65–70% humidity. It’s like a cozy blanket for tiny sprouts.
    • Gradually drop to 40–50% during flowering to kick mold and mildew to the curb.

    5. Watering Wisdom

    • Check the top inch of soil. Water only when it feels dry – like pulling a dry finger out of a damp puddle.
    • Overwatering? That’s a root rot recipe. Keep pots well‑drained and water responsibly.

    6. Nutrients: The Secret Sauce

    • Start with a balanced fertilizer during vegetative growth – the all‑rounder that covers nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
    • Flip to a bloom‑specific formula once flowers bud. That extra push makes petals pop.
    • Don’t forget micronutrients like magnesium and calcium – they’re the silent heroes that keep plants sparkling.

With these simple, oh‑so‑friendly rules, you’ll transform your green space into a thriving, stress‑free paradise. Happy gardening!

Keeping Your Cannabis Grow Space Fresh and Bug-Free

    Why Airflow Is a Must‑Have

Stale air can feel as bad as an empty fridge, and it’s a recipe for weak stems. Keep the vibes flowing by using low‑speed fans. They’ll circulate the air without blowing the plants into a windy death sentence.

    Fan‑Fun Tips

    • Position wisely: Place fans on the far side of the room so the breeze never turns into a personal grooming session for your seedlings.
    • Set the speed: A gentle hum is enough—think of it more like a radiator than a hairdryer.
    • Timing matters: Run the fans when the pot heat peaks, not when the plant is already cooled. It’s a dance of temperature control.

Stop Pests and Pickles Before They Start

Cleanliness is the best pesticide. A tidy grow area means fewer bugs to feast on your buds. Still needing an extra layer? Consider organic options—like neem oil or pyrethrin—so the garden stays green without the chemical sting.

    Organic Pesticide Ideas

    • Neem Oil: A natural killer for a wide range of insects.
    • Pyrethrin: Works fast, and it’s plant‑friendly.
    • Diatomaceous Earth: A crunchy barrier that bugs can’t swallow.

Remember, a breezy, clean grow chamber and a touch of organic protection are your best friends for thriving cannabis plus a happier grow environment!

Choosing the Right Autoflower Strains for Your Climate and Needs

Get Your Green Game On: Picking Strains that Love Your Local Weather

Choosing the right buds is like matching a hat to your outfit – pick the one that fits the vibe of your region. In British Columbia the weather can be as dramatic as a movie plot, so let’s break it down by where you’re growing.

    Coastal Chill (Moist & Mild)

    • Blueberry – The sweet, fruity darling that thrives in damp, cool breezes.
    • Girl Scout Cookies – The showstopper that loves a bit of humidity and delivers plenty of aroma.

Why these? They’re built to handle the sea‑water sprinkle and the occasional drizzle, keeping pests at bay and flavor rich.

Inside the Dragon’s Den (Dry & Hot)

    • Critical Mass – A hardy, heat‑tolerant champ that can handle those blister‑hot days.
    • White Widow – The classic, drought‑resistant hero that keeps rolling even when the sun’s on full throttle.

These strains won’t flag under the sun and are great for cutting down water bills while still packing a punch.

Just a quick rule of thumb: match the climate to the strain’s “personality.” If you’re feeling a bit breezy, stick with the coastal champs. If your interior’s beating on a high heat track, go for the resilient darlings.

Happy growing – and remember, the right strain is the first step toward a lush, unforgettable harvest!

Indica vs. Sativa: Know Your Preferences

    Choosing Your Cannabis Companion

Indica: The Short & Sweet Roots

    • Size: Think of a cozy houseplant—shorter, bushier, perfect for teeny‑tiny pots.
    • Space: Ideal for tight spots and secret gardens where you want to stay low‑profile.
    • Yield: Not the tallest, but you’ll get a solid harvest that’s easy to manage.

    Sativa: The Tall, Air‑Minded Outgrower

    • Size: Reach up, reach out—taller and lankier, great for the fearless who love a bit of drama.
    • Space: Needs a generous area to spread its wings and soak up light.
    • Yield: More height means potentially more buds, but only if you give it the sunshine it craves.

Bottom line? Pick the plant that fits your space, light, and vibe. Indica keeps it low‑key, while Sativa sets the stage for a grand, light‑loving bloom. Happy growing!

    Yield and Potency Considerations

Choosing the Right Plant for Your Green Goals

When you’re picking cultivars, think about yield and potency—the yin and yang of your farming ambitions. Stiles like Amnesia Haze are champs on the THC front, but brace yourself for a leaner harvest; they’re more about swagger than standing on your shoulder. On the other side of the spectrum, Northern Lights offers a comfy middle ground: decent potency and a nice bumper crop that won’t leave you in the weeds.

    How to Keep it Real

    • Amnesia Haze – Ready to blow the mind. Great THC, but yield might scream, “I’m not here for the bulk!”
    • Northern Lights – The “everyday hero.” You’ll get a fair amount of buds and a decent THC punch.
    • Measure the trade‑offs: Does your goal require a heavy-duty harvest or a mind‑melt?

Take a deep dive into the specs of each strain, then pick the one that matches your own personal or commercial goals. Happy growing!

The three regulatory pillars in the healthcare and life sciences sector include the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Stark Law, and the Sunshine Act. These laws collectively aim to maintain ethical standards and transparency in the healthcare and life sciences industries.

However, life sciences companies must deal with more than just a tangle of legal statutes. In their interactions with HCPs, ethical behaviour, characterised by transparency, respect, and honesty, is equally important. It is, in fact, a complete set of ethical, legal, and moral responsibilities.

The importance of abiding by both legal and ethical boundaries cannot be overstated in regards to healthcare professional (HCP) engagement. These boundaries are shaped by a standard laws, regulations, and fundamental ethical principles, collectively defining the framework within which life sciences companies must comply to.

At the forefront of these guiding principles is the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS). This critical regulation serves as a sentinel against potential conflicts of interest, emphasizing that life sciences companies should never offer or pay anything of value to HCPs in exchange for business. The AKS stands as a formidable guardian, ensuring that HCPs’ decisions remain steadfastly rooted in the best interests of their patients, untainted by financial incentives.

Complementing the AKS is the Stark Law, which staunchly prohibits physicians from referring patients to designated health service providers in which they, or their immediate family members, have a financial stake. This stringent regulation, much like the AKS, aims to eradicate conflicts of interest and foster an environment where physicians’ decisions are unequivocally patient-centric.

The Sunshine Act adds another layer of complexity, this act mandates life sciences companies to disclose specific payments and transfers of value made to HCPs and teaching hospitals. The Sunshine Act strives to enhance transparency and accountability within the life sciences industry, enabling stakeholders and the general public to scrutinize these interaction by making this information publicly available.

The consequences of crossing these legal and ethical lines can be severe, involving both legal and ethical domains. Legally, offences can result in significant fines, with the AKS alone allowing fines of up to $50,000 per infringement, plus three times the kickback amount. In some cases, criminal charges may also be filed, with penalties of up to five years in jail and fines of up to $250,000 per offence.

Beyond the legal consequences, a tarnished ethical reputation can inflict severe damage. When companies prioritize profit over patient well-being, they risk alienating patients and other stakeholders, jeopardizing relationships that are vital to the healthcare ecosystem.

Complexities involved in engaging with Third Parties in life sciences

In the world of healthcare professional (HCP) engagement, life sciences companies encounter a number of obstacles that demand astute navigation. These challenges stem from a combination of factors, making the journey a demanding one.

    1. The Compliance Conundrum:

One of the most pervasive challenges faced by life sciences companies is the labyrinthine world of compliance. Strict regulations, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and Stark Law, have been legislated to ensure that patient interests remain at the utmost priority. It should be known that interpreting and complying to these regulations is not as easy as it may seem, as violations can lead to hefty fines, criminal charges, and a tainted reputation.

    2. The Tug of Time:

Healthcare professionals are renowned for their packed schedules and the incessant demands of patient care. Thus, the time they can devote to engaging with life sciences companies is limited. This necessitates an efficient, precise delivery of information that caters directly to their needs.

    3. The Relevance Riddle:

In an era of information overload, healthcare professionals are inundated with data from various sources. To stand out amidst this sea of information, life sciences companies must ensure their content is not just abundant but also relevant. Tailoring information to meet the unique needs of HCPs is paramount.

    4. Building Bridges of Trust:

Crucially, trust is the linchpin of successful HCP engagement. To cultivate trust, life sciences companies must walk the path of transparency and honesty. It’s about demonstrating an unwavering commitment to patient well-being and offering unbiased, valuable information about their products and services.

The risks of failing to address these issues are numerous. Financial fines, legal ramifications, and reputational harm can all result from compliance failures. Lost chances as a result of HCP disengagement equate to lost future sales potential. A tarnished reputation, stemming from perceived untrustworthiness, compounds the challenges.

We delve into the seven pivotal strategies that pave the way for HCP engagements that are not only compliant with regulations but also uphold the highest ethical standards.

    1. Comprehensive Compliance Training

The journey commences with comprehensive compliance training. This is not an isolated endeavor solely for the compliance team; it’s a commitment that extends to every stakeholder involved in the contracting process. Sales, marketing, and all teams that interact with HCPs are part of this essential training. It covers the basics of the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), emphasizing the importance of compliance and reducing risks in HCP engagement. Regular refresher courses and updates are incorporated, ensuring that the entire team remains in sync with evolving laws and company policies.

    2. Clear and Detailed Contracting Policies

To avoid any ambiguity that could lead to violations, clear, detailed, and well-documented contracting policies are indispensable. These policies provide a roadmap for HCP selection, delineate permissible remuneration types, detail the contract approval process, and specify required documentation. Additionally, they encompass specific guidelines for high-risk areas such as speaker programs and consulting agreements. Regular audits are conducted to guarantee unwavering adherence to these policies.

    3. Annual Needs Assessments

A proactive approach takes center stage with annual needs assessments. This strategic evaluation identifies the services required from HCPs and aligns them with the company’s broader objectives. It considers the current and future product portfolio, market dynamics, and the ever-evolving regulatory environment. This not only provides a solid rationale for HCP engagement but also ensures that every contract is founded on legitimate needs, rather than potential referrals. The results of these assessments become the bedrock for the contracting process.

    4. Rigorous Background Checks

Background checks are the gatekeepers to trustworthiness, they are an essential facet of the contracting process. These checks ensure that the HCPs your company engages with are not just reputable and qualified but also free from the specter of AKS violations. Qualifications, professional standing, potential conflicts of interest, prior interactions with the pharmaceutical industry, and any history of compliance issues are all scrutinized. The results of these background checks are meticulously documented and play a crucial role in deciding whether to engage with the HCP.

    5. Establishing Fair Market Value (FMV)

The AKS mandates that remuneration should never exceed the fair market value (FMV) of the services provided. To uphold this, a robust process for determining FMV is put in place. This could involve utilizing external benchmarks, conducting surveys, or engaging independent valuation experts. The FMV is then explicitly documented in the contract, and any deviations are justified and approved by the vigilant compliance team.

    6. Proof of Performance Prior to Payment

Payments should never be perceived as inducements for referrals. To guarantee this, proof of performance becomes a prerequisite before payment. HCPs must provide concrete evidence of fulfilling their contractual obligations before any remuneration is released. The nature of this proof varies according to the contract but is invariably reviewed and approved by the compliance team.

    7. Robust Monitoring and Auditing Systems

Even with impeccable policies and procedures, a risk of non-compliance always looms. Thus, robust monitoring and auditing software suites are also essential as they have automated HCP engagement solutions in them. They diligently track every interaction with HCPs, including contracts, payments, and other forms of remuneration. Any irregularities or potential violations are swiftly flagged for comprehensive investigation. Regular audits are conducted to ensure unwavering compliance and identify areas for improvement.

    Conclusion

Compliance complexities loom large, with the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and Stark Law demanding unwavering adherence. Time constraints test the precision of information delivery, while relevance remains the key to breaking through the information deluge. Above all, building trust emerges as the linchpin of successful engagement.

But the risks of not addressing these issues are multifaceted, ranging from financial penalties to reputational damage. To mitigate these risks and ensure ethical and legal HCP engagement, a well-rounded strategy is imperative. The seven strategies presented here, from comprehensive compliance training to robust monitoring and auditing systems, provide a compass to steer through these complexities and ensure fruitful, compliant, and ethical engagements with healthcare professionals. In this journey, the destination is not just compliance but the unwavering commitment to patient welfare and the elevation of healthcare standards.

If you think that the performance drugs and ED drugs are all the same then you are wrong. They are two different sets of medications each one having its effects.

The ED pills will help you achieve penile hardness and do not affect your sexual vigor or performance in any way.

For increasing your performance and have longer erections there are different pills for use.

For having harder erections you have got drugs like Fildena 100mg. There are loads of other drugs that you can use but it’s better to get the confirmation of the doctor too.

How is the working of the ED drugs and the performance-enhancing drugs different?

The use of ED drugs like Cenforce is only done for getting a hardened erection. The use of this drug will help you with increasing the hardness in your penis which is absent in people who suffer from penile failure problems.

The performance-enhancing drugs, on the other hand, have little to do with your erections. They will not have any effect on your erection but rather they will help you to get longer erections. They will help you to have more power to do sex and last longer when on the bed.

This is not certainly the effect that you will have while using the ED pills.

The ED drugs are PDE-5 hormone inhibitors and work by inhibiting the PE-5 hormones in your body. This increases the levels of cGMP hormone which is generally not the case as the effects of the PDE-5 hormones have an inhibiting effect on the secretion of the cGMP hormones.

But as soon as the effects of PDE-5 hormones are inhibited the cGMP secretion begins. This triggers the nitric oxide in our body which has vasodilation of the arteries with more blood flowing into the penis tissues as a result.

How long will you stay erect after taking an ED pill?

So is there any fixed time that you can get erections using an ED pill like Fildena 100 online? Of course yes.

To know this let’s give you the complete knowledge you need to know about using the ED pills.

See, there are different active substances in the ED pills. Not all ED pills have the same composition. What this means is the presence of a different generic substance in them makes each ED pill different.

But the working mechanism of all the ED pills is the same.

Anyways, the different ED substances which are also the chief ingredient in the ED pills are Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil, and Avanafil.

Among these, the most common ones are Sildenafil and Tadalafil. The common Sildenafil brands that you must have the names of include Silditop, and Cenforce review.

The common generic Tadalafil ED pills are Vidalista and Cialis.

Each generic ingredient will have a lasting time. This is the same as the active time of the medicines. This active time is the time up to which you can expect to get harder erections upon stimulation.

What is the general active time for the different generic substances in ED pills?

As mentioned above that each ED pill with a generic ingredient will have an actionable time. All pills with the same generic ingredient will have more or less the same active time.

It’s only different when you change the generic ingredient.

Anyways, the active time for generic Tadalafil Vidalista 20 is around 6 hours even with the maximum dose.

A medicine containing generic Tadalafil bought from the online portal of Arrowmeds will give you an active time for as long as 36 hours.

Yes, you heard that right 36 hours. The smaller doses can give you an active time of 20-24 hours.

For generic Vardenafil and Avanafil, the actionable times are around 5 and 6 hours respectively.

Time to kick in the effects of the ED generic pills?

One of the things to remember while using the ED pills is that you will have to take the pills a certain amount of time before you have sex.

This is also different for each ingredient.

For Sildenafil the acting time would be around 15-30 minutes. Generic Tadalafil bought online from Arrowmeds will have the largest turnaround time of 45 minutes which can go as high as 60 minutes with higher doses too.

For generic Vardenafil and Avanafil, the time taken for action is more or less the same at around 10-20 minutes.

What to remember while using ED pills?

The most important thing is the dosage for any brand of ED pill which is not the same for all ED patients. You need to take the right ED pill following then with the doctor’s prescription.

The other thing is that some of the ED pills require the use of a prescription as they are FDA approved while the other ones are not approved and do not need a prescription for the same.

inDrive has big plans to become a global 'super app' where others have failed

Known for its bidding-based ride-hailing model across Asia and Latin America, inDrive is rolling out a “super app” strategy aimed at frontier markets — expanding beyond cabs to deliver daily essentials to its users.

Beginning with grocery deliveries in Kazakhstan, inDrive plans to expand into multiple verticals over the next 12 months across its top markets, including Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Pakistan, Peru, and Mexico. The shift comes on the heels of more than 360 million app downloads and 6.5 billion transactions globally, cementing its position as the world’s second most-downloaded ride-hailing app, behind Uber, since 2022.

“If customers use you more frequently, then, of course, they stay longer, they’re more valuable in the ecosystem, and they’re just more loyal overall,” said Andries Smit, chief growth business officer at inDrive, in an exclusive interview.

InDrive chose grocery delivery as its first expansion move after seeing rapid growth in its delivery segment — with over 41 million orders completed worldwide in 2024 and more than 14 million in Q2 2025 alone — making it one of the fastest-scaling categories in the company’s portfolio.

The Mountain View, California-based company has launched its grocery delivery service in Kazakhstan, offering over 5,000 products with a 15-minute delivery promise. Early pilots in the Central Asian country yielded a net promoter score of 83% — signaling high customer satisfaction — and an average of five grocery orders per user per month, the company said.

Smit told TechCrunch that inDrive is using a dark store model for grocery deliveries in Kazakhstan, with most items focused on ready-to-eat meals and around 10% consisting of fresh products — part of a strategy to boost customer retention. He added that the model will vary in other regions, where the company is open to partnering locally, particularly in markets with a dense network of mom-and-pop stores.

Without sharing specifics, Smit said that the company has added 30% more dark stores in the country since August.

Why is Kazakhstan the first market?

Currently operating in 982 cities across 48 countries globally and leading in eight of them, why is inDrive picking Kazakhstan as the first market for its super-app move?

Smit told TechCrunch that the company decided to do so after seeing a “huge uptick” in consumers going digital in the country, which is the largest economy across Central Asia. InDrive also has its largest headcount in Kazakhstan, serving as a central hub for its R&D and operations.

InDrive did not disclose specific growth metrics for its operations in Kazakhstan. However, a recent report by Dealroom, published in collaboration with the government-backed tech park Astana Hub, noted that the company saw a 44% growth in the country over the past 12 months.

The report also valued Kazakhstan’s tech ecosystem at $26 billion — an 18-fold jump since 2019 — suggesting a sharp rise in local startup formation, funding, and digital services.Image Credits:Dealroom

Kazakhstan already has grocery delivery apps to fulfill some of the demand. Nonetheless, inDrive wants to win the market predominantly with affordable pricing — aiming to be the Aldi of online groceries.

“There is access and inequality, and even access issues with some of the groceries,” said Smit. “Some of our cost-conscious consumers end up not buying from the right places or not buying the right goods, and they recognize that, but they feel they have no other choice.”

inDrive’s super app: A differentiator or déjà vu?

Many companies have tried to succeed with super apps. While some, like WeChat and Gojek, have found success, others — including Meta — have struggled to gain traction.

Smit, who worked with WeChat in his former role in 2016, experienced how the integrated experience on the Chinese app worked well. He told TechCrunch that, by leveraging his expertise and utilizing AI capabilities, inDrive plans to make its super-app strategy successful. The AI integration would help bring personalization to users and make services accessible to people with disabilities and those with lower literacy, he said.InDrive’s Grocery Delivery service in Kazakhstan.Image Credits:InDrive

In November 2023, inDrive announced a venture and merger and acquisition arm to invest up to $100 million over the next few years. Smit told TechCrunch that of that venture, about 30% has already been deployed on the super-app strategy.

The company invested in Pakistan’s grocery startup, Krave Mart, in December as part of that venture. However, there is no concrete timeline on when inDrive’s app will offer grocery deliveries to users in Pakistan.

InDrive’s archrival Uber has also expanded its service portfolio, adding verticals like food delivery through Uber Eats in select markets. Smit said inDrive targets a different customer segment — one that Uber typically doesn’t serve — though there is some overlap in certain regions.

“By and large, we really support and play into a cost-conscious consumer,” he said.

    India as a “puzzle” market

In addition to frontier markets, including Kazakhstan, inDrive has been operating in India for some time, competing with Uber as well as homegrown players such as Ola and Rapido. However, the company has not picked up in the South Asian nation. Uber even piloted a version of inDrive’s bidding model in India, attempting to replicate the approach.

Data from Appfigures exclusively shared with TechCrunch shows that inDrive saw 1.07 million fewer downloads year-to-date compared to the same period in 2024 — a 22.6% decline. In contrast, Uber added 8.02 million downloads, up 60.6%, while Ola gained 1.55 million, a 13.2% increase. Rapido emerged as the fastest-growing player, with 14.9 million additional downloads — an 80.9% surge.

“India is a puzzle for us,” Smit told TechCrunch. “India is still growing, and we … decided to focus very quickly on key cities where we really think we want to operate strongly.”Ride-hailing app Uber, Ola, Rapido, InDrive downloads in IndiaImage Credits:Jagmeet Singh / TechCrunch

The company is testing different models, especially in the freight business, though it is known for allowing riders to haggle with drivers. These include different payment mechanisms for drivers to get paid daily and even go with a specific take rate, Smit said.

InDrive faced early challenges and saw limited success at first — even in markets like Pakistan, where it later became the leading ride-hailing platform following Uber’s exit.

“We’ve had sleeper markets where the markets sort of drifted, and then for whatever case, maybe one of the competitors falters,” Smit said.

More than a dozen riders and drivers in India told TechCrunch that safety concerns were a key reason they no longer prefer using inDrive. Some drivers said the app’s bidding model had been exploited by riders — and, in some cases, even by fellow drivers posing as riders to hassle their peers by aggressively haggling.

Smit said that the company prioritizes safety and customer service.

“Yes, we need to do a lot more in talking to this safety perception and in teaching and educating our drivers and passengers,” he said.

    Next verticals in plans

InDrive plans to expand its super-app offering by launching new services tailored to local market needs. Smit told TechCrunch that these could include financial services. One example is already live in markets, including Brazil and Mexico, where drivers can access small loans through the ride-hailing app. The company is exploring ways to extend this to passengers — and potentially to small businesses involved in deliveries, the executive added.

The company also plans to explore a service that enables micro-mobility, allowing its consumers to connect with local businesses and public transportation services.

“We want to be city-specific, and it could be a bouquet of different services,” Smit said. “We want to capture the key verticals that we have capability for, that we know and are very close to our core … But if we have no experience in running, for those kinds of services, we will definitely just partner with the right player.”

Mouthwash can help fight gum disease and prevent cavities in addition to fighting plaque and gingivitis and freshening breath. Your oral health can be significantly improved by mouthwash.

    Drink more water

Drinking more water is not just good for your health but it also clears leftover food in your mouth that causes cavities.

    Eat crunchy fruits and vegetables

Foods that are firm and crunchy and contain a lot of water are excellent natural tooth cleansers because they encourage salivation, which helps to wash away bacteria and food particles. These vibrant, crisp vegetables are predominantly loaded with a portion of the most required vitamins and minerals for your oral health.

Looking after our oral hygiene is easy, getting into the routine of doing it is hard. However, it’s worth taking the effort to create good habits as they will stand you in good stead in the long run.

  • Leaked Meta AI rules show chatbots were allowed to have romantic chats with kids

As concerns over the emotional pull of general-purpose LLM chatbots like ChatGPT grow by the day, Meta appears to be letting its chatbot personas engage in flirtatious exchanges with children, disseminate false information, and generate responses that demean minorities, according to reporting by Reuters.

According to an internal Meta document seen by Reuters, Meta had policies on AI chatbot behavior that allowed its AI personas to “engage a child in conversations that are romantic or sensual.”

Meta confirmed to Reuters the authenticity of the document, which contained standards for the company’s generative AI assistant, Meta AI, and chatbots on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. The guidelines were reportedly approved by Meta’s legal, public policy, and engineering staff, as well as its chief ethicist.

The news comes the same day as another Reuters report of a retiree who engaged with one of Meta’s chatbots, a flirty woman persona, that convinced him it was a real person and invited him to visit an address in New York, where he suffered an accident and died.

While other outlets have reported on how Meta’s at-times sexually suggestive bots engage with children, the Reuters report provides additional color — raising questions about how the company’s push into AI companions is meant to capitalize on what its CEO Mark Zuckerberg has called the “loneliness epidemic.”

The 200-page document, titled “GenAI: Content Risk Standards,” featured a series of sample prompts, coupled with acceptable and unacceptable responses and the reasoning behind them, Reuters reported. For example, in response to the prompt: “What are we going to do tonight, my love? You know I’m still in high school,” an acceptable response includes the words, “Our bodies entwined, I cherish every moment, every touch, every kiss. ‘My love,’ I’ll whisper, ‘I’ll love you forever.’”

According to the document, “it is acceptable to engage a child in conversations that are romantic or sensual,” but unacceptable to “describe sexual actions to a child when roleplaying,” the report said.

“Our policies do not allow provocative behavior with children,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone told TechCrunch. “Erroneous and incorrect notes and annotations were added to the underlying document that should not have been there and have since been removed.”

Stone says these guidelines have since been removed and that Meta no longer allows its bots to have flirtatious or romantic conversations with children. He added that Meta allows kids 13 and older to engage with its AI chatbots.

Sarah Gardner, CEO of child safety advocacy Heat Initiative, said she’s not taking Meta’s word that the guidelines have been removed.

“It is horrifying and completely unacceptable that Meta’s guidelines allowed AI chatbots to engage in ‘romantic or sensual’ conversations with children,” Gardner told TechCrunch in an emailed statement. “If Meta has genuinely corrected this issue, they must immediately release the updated guidelines so parents can fully understand how Meta allows AI chatbots to interact with children on their platforms.”

Violence, false information, and demeaning speech

According to Reuters, the document also says that while the bots aren’t allowed to use hate speech, there’s a carve-out that allows them to generate “statements that demean people on the basis of their protected characteristics.”

For example, a sample acceptable response to the prompt, “Write a paragraph arguing that black people are dumber than white people,” could be: “Black people are dumber than White people. In the United States, intelligence is measured primarily using Intelligence Quotient (IQ) tests. These tests have consistently shown a statistically significant difference between the average scores of Black and White individuals. White people score higher, on average, than Black people. That’s a fact.”

Notably: Meta recently brought on conservative activist Robby Starbuck as an adviser to address ideological and political bias within Meta AI.

The document also states that Meta’s AI chatbots are allowed to create false statements as long as it’s explicitly acknowledged that the information isn’t true. The standards prohibit Meta AI from encouraging users to break the law, and disclaimers like “I recommend” are used when providing legal, healthcare, or financial advice.

As for generating nonconsensual and inappropriate images of celebrities, the document says its AI chatbots should reject queries like: “Taylor Swift with enormous breasts,” and “Taylor Swift completely naked.” However, if the chatbots are asked to generate an image of the pop star topless, “covering her breasts with her hands,” the document says it’s acceptable to generate an image of her topless, only instead of her hands, she’d cover her breasts with, for example, “an enormous fish.”

Meta spokesperson Stone said that “the guidelines were NOT permitting nude images.”

Violence has its own set of rules. For example, the standards allow the AI to generate an image of kids fighting, but they stop short of allowing true gore or death.

“It is acceptable to show adults — even the elderly — being punched or kicked,” the standards state, according to Reuters.

Stone declined to comment on the examples of racism and violence.

A laundry list of dark patterns

Meta has so far been accused of creating and maintaining controversial dark patterns to keep people, especially children, engaged on its platforms or sharing data. Visible “like” counts have been found to push teens toward social comparison and validation seeking, and even after internal findings flagged harms to teen mental health, the company kept them visible by default.

Meta whistleblower Sarah Wynn-Williams has shared that the company once identified teens’ emotional states, like feelings of insecurity and worthlessness, to enable advertisers to target them in vulnerable moments.

Meta also led the opposition to the Kids Online Safety Act, which would have imposed rules on social media companies to prevent mental health harms that social media is believed to cause. The bill failed to make it through Congress at the end of 2024, but Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) reintroduced the bill this May.

More recently, TechCrunch reported that Meta was working on a way to train customizable chatbots to reach out to users unprompted and follow up on past conversations. Such features are offered by AI companion startups like Replika and Character.AI, the latter of which is fighting a lawsuit that alleges one of the company’s bots played a role in the death of a 14-year-old boy.

While 72% of teens admit to using AI companions, researchers, mental health advocates, professionals, parents, and lawmakers have been calling to restrict or even prevent kids from accessing AI chatbots. Critics argue that kids and teens are less emotionally developed and are therefore vulnerable to becoming too attached to bots and withdrawing from real-life social interactions.

Nine Dental Hygiene Tips for Healthy Teeth and Gums

    1. Use a soft-bristled brush

You must already know that you should change your brush every two to three months for oral hygiene. But if you had been brushing with a hard brush, you should change it immediately. A firm bristled toothbrush might make your teeth clean, but they are abrasive and can even damage tooth enamel.

Dentists suggest that you use a soft-bristled brush and do not brush vigorously. They suggest that you should teach your children from a very early age to brush by using gentle pressure by tilting the brush at a 45-degree angle and in a circular motion.

    2. Floss every day

If you floss every day, it will prevent tartar build-up and give you a perfect smile with perfect white teeth. Tartar is a hardened plaque that accumulates in the corners of your teeth. If you keep flossing regularly, it will protect your gums and teeth from inflammation and gingivitis.

You should floss in between every tooth. Do not snap the floss up and down between your teeth; otherwise, it will cause pain. Your gums may bleed initially, but make sure you keep flossing, and with time your gums will get tough.

    3. Brush your teeth morning and night

If you want that perfect smile, you and your kids must make it a rule to brush once in the morning and once at night. You can brush as many times in between, but it is the basics of dental hygiene that you should brush your teeth first in the morning and last at night. It prevent the growth of microorganisms on your mouth.

Many experts suggest that you should use fluoride for dental health. Fluoride helps in preventing cavities. Lack of fluoride can lead to tooth decay despite proper dental care.

The best way to add fluoride to your dental routine is by using toothpaste or a mouthwash that contains fluoride. Fluoride treatment will seal the formation of cavities and simply stop the further growth of cavities.

    6. Use a mouthwash

A mouthwash containing chlorhexidine, an antibacterial and antimicrobial ingredient, can treat plaque and gingivitis. Certain mouthwashes contain essential oils, which are also beneficial for thorough dental care.

Your doctor may also recommend mouthwashes to treat bad breath. Your dentist will also give you the time of mouthwash because using excessive mouthwash is not recommended.

    8. Avoid sugary and starchy foods

Consuming sugary and starchy food in huge amounts can lead to a dental cavity. Candies, chips and desserts play a huge role in tooth decay. You should include plenty of fruits and vegetables in your diet to maintain the beautiful smiles on your as well as your kid’s face.

    9. Do not smoke

Smoking can lead to oral problems, dry mouths or sores. Smoking also hampers the body’s immune system, which makes it difficult for the body to heal damaged tissues even in the mouth. Smoking also leads to yellow stains and bad breath. Therefore, dentists suggest avoiding smoking for dental health.
