“POV: me trying to sneak into the polls with my son’s passport #VoteCauseICant,” she said as she sat in a car and gazed outside the window. In her caption, she emphasized the power of protecting women’s rights, writing, “When protecting pussies and firing pussies can happen all in one vote,” adding the hashtags, “#votecauseicant #TanSuitSeason.”
In the comments section, a fan asked how she could live in the United States without being a citizen. She replied with a sassy response, writing, “Taxes, dummy,” along with a hands-in-the-air emoji.

Another called her out for “illegal voting” and said she should be arrested for “trying” to use her son’s passport. “Shut up Karen,” Rihanna wrote back.

Although Rihanna’s two sons, RZA and Riot Rose, whom she shares with rapper A$AP Rocky, are U.S. citizens, she remains a citizen of Barbados, having moved to the U.S. in 2005 without changing her citizenship.
